The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed an agreement with the US Chamber of Commerce to boost trade, investment, and business collaboration between Abu Dhabi and the United States.

The partnership underscores the robust economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, one of the UAE’s largest trading partners.

The deal provides an institutional platform to support joint investments, knowledge transfer, and private-sector collaboration, enabling companies to expand into new markets and foster sustainable economic partnerships.

The cooperation agreement was signed by HE Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and Mr. Steve Lutes, Vice President for Middle East Affairs at the US Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of senior representatives from both sides.

“The signing of this agreement marks a new milestone in strengthening economic relations with the United States. It reflects the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s ongoing efforts to expand international partnerships, support the global expansion of the private sector, and open new avenues for trade and investment. We are confident this partnership will create broader opportunities for Abu Dhabi companies while enhancing knowledge exchange and global competitiveness.”

Non-oil trade between the two nations reached $30.2 billion (AED 111.0 billion) during the first nine months of 2025, marking a 10.2 percent year-on-year increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC).

The UAE hosts thousands of US companies across sectors such as technology, energy, advanced industries, financial services, and healthcare, while mutual investments continue to grow, reflecting strong confidence in the business environment of both countries.

Steve Lutes remarked that, “This agreement demonstrates the US Chamber’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with partners in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. We look forward to supporting American and Emirati companies in exploring new opportunities across investment, technology, and trade and to strengthening ties between the two business communities in support of sustainable economic growth.”

The collaboration focuses on broadening trade and investment cooperation, organizing economic events and trade delegations, exchanging market and regulatory information, and developing joint programs for training and capacity building.
