ACI Worldwide, a leading global payments technology provider, has extended partnership with iNet, Saudi Arabia’s first independent Network Service Provider (NSP) licensed by the Saudi Central Bank.

Under the new agreement, iNet will join ACI Worldwide’s Retail Payment Solutions (RPS) for Postilion program to accelerate the development of the Kingdom’s fintech sector. As part of this collaboration, iNet will deploy and manage Point of Sale (POS) infrastructure using ACI’s Postilion platform. This solution enables banks, fintech companies, and merchants to deliver fast, secure, and omnichannel transaction processing while adhering to dynamic regulatory standards.

Earlier this year, iNet received principal licenses to operate independently as a POS NSP, allowing it to offer POS services directly to banks and merchants. A long-standing ACI Worldwide customer since 2006, iNet’s inclusion in the RPS for Postilion program is expected to broaden its service portfolio and enhance its market presence. Currently processing more than 5 million transactions daily, iNet aims to scale in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a national plan focused on building a cashless, innovation-driven financial ecosystem.

iNet Executive Vice President Turki Almadi commented that, “The rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia’s fintech sector underscores the need for a resilient, locally anchored infrastructure to scale securely and sustainably. iNet’s POS infrastructure, powered by Postilion, combines our deep local expertise with ACI’s advanced acquiring technology, enabling fintech providers and merchants with faster speed to market, allowing them to focus on their core business without being encumbered by regulatory, technological or operational challenges.”

The RPS for Postilion platform supports services such as SoftPOS, QR payments, digital wallets, and link-based payments. iNet’s active-active infrastructure, deployed across two PCI-compliant Saudi data centers, ensures high availability and reduced operational risk. Positioned to support major events such as the FIFA World Cup 2034, iNet is emerging as a key digital infrastructure partner.

ACI Worldwide Middle East Regional Head Alexis Haessler said that, “Our partnership with iNet is grounded in a shared vision to simplify payments, unlock new growth opportunities and support the Kingdom’s journey toward a digital-first economy. Together, we are creating a frictionless and interoperable payment experience and powering a modern, inclusive and future-ready financial ecosystem.”
