AD Ports Group has successfully concluded the fifth edition of its Innovators of the Future summer program, held under the theme AI Solutions for a Sustainable World.

The initiative brought together 33 students aged 15 to 18, offering them a dynamic and hands-on learning experience aimed at nurturing the next generation of innovators.

The focus was on exploring how artificial intelligence can address sustainability challenges while promoting core community values such as fairness, environmental responsibility, and social well-being.

By combining practical activities with expert guidance, the program aimed to highlight AI’s potential to drive positive change and encourage young talents to contribute to building a more sustainable and inclusive future.

Through interactive workshops, real-world case studies, and mentorship sessions, participants explored the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in addressing global sustainability challenges while reinforcing core community values.

According to the statement, the program featured workshops on AI trends and machine learning, alongside interactive activities across AD Ports Group’s operations. Participants explored Maqta Gateway’s trade digitization initiatives and experienced sailing simulators at Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy.

A key highlight of the program was the final innovation challenge, which all students completed, demonstrating creativity, problem solving and teamwork.

Through this initiative, AD Ports Group continues to support youth development and inspire future leaders in technology and innovation, aligned with Abu Dhabi’s vision for a smart and sustainable future.

By combining theoretical knowledge with real-world challenges, the program aimed to empower young innovators to develop sustainable AI solutions that align with AD Ports Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship and social impact, preparing them to be future leaders in the tech-driven sustainable development landscape, as per the reports.
