The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has made history by becoming the first organization in the global agriculture and food security sector to receive the ISO 42001:2023 certification for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.
ADAFSA is also the first government entity in the UAE to earn this prestigious international recognition. This milestone reinforces the nation’s regional and global leadership and reflects its commitment to adopting and advancing international best practices and standards.
The certification covers ADAFSA’s use of advanced AI technologies, including intelligent analytics and machine learning algorithms, to improve the efficiency of its agricultural operations and food safety services.
Further, it underscores the Authority’s dedication to managing AI technologies responsibly and effectively, in alignment with the UAE’s digital transformation and sustainable development goals.
