ADIB Capital Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, based in DIFC and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), has launched the ADIB Digital Infrastructure Fund.
The ADIB Digital Infrastructure Fund is a Sharia-compliant public fund incorporated in DIFC. It is designed to provide investors with targeted exposure to high-conviction investments in listed equities. These companies benefit from favorable supply-demand dynamics in the data storage and data transmission sectors, with a particular focus on North America and Europe.
The fund offers Shari’a-compliant investment solutions that enable investors to benefit from the global digital transformation while diversifying their portfolios through exposure to digital infrastructure assets.
It follows a bottom-up investment approach, analyzing individual companies and macroeconomic trends, and selectively invests in a concentrated portfolio of 20 to 25 securities trading below their intrinsic value to deliver competitive risk-adjusted returns.
Long-term growth in the digital infrastructure sector is being driven by strong macro tailwinds, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, e-commerce, and mobile connectivity. The fund seeks to capitalize on these trends by investing in data centers, cell towers, fiber networks, and other critical infrastructure assets. Rising demand for connectivity, alongside a persistent supply shortage in data storage and related assets, continues to create attractive opportunities for targeted investment.
ADIB Capital will manage the fund in collaboration with DigitalBrid Liquid Accounts Adviser, an affiliate of DigitalBridge Group, a leading global digital infrastructure firm with ownership and investment capabilities across the entire asset class.
The fund’s structure, investments, and documentation have been approved by its Shari’a Supervisory Board, reinforcing investor confidence through a robust Shari’a-compliant framework supported by ADIB Group’s strong governance and institutional infrastructure.
