The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC), in partnership with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), has officially launched the Bunaa Program.
The new initiative is designed to empower Emirati talent while fostering the growth of future leaders within Abu Dhabi’s integrated infrastructure sector.
The program reflects ADPIC’s commitment to enhancing national human capital and driving sustainable, knowledge-based economic growth.
Structured as a comprehensive three-year career development journey, the Bunaa program provides a clear, progressive pathway for UAE nationals entering fields related to infrastructure, engineering, construction and project delivery.
ADPIC’s Bunaa Program: Mentorship, Training, and Leadership Development
Participants will develop different specialties across the project lifecycle, encompassing Design and Engineering, Project Management and Execution, Procurement and Contract Management, Project Monitoring and Control, and Financial and Expenditure Management, ensuring that they acquire the practical skills required to excel in the field.
Throughout the program, participants will benefit from structured mentorship, applied learning, and access to professional certifications. The combination of hands-on experience and accredited training is designed to strengthen their technical expertise whilst preparing them to assume future leadership roles.
“Inspired by the vision of our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who taught us that the true wealth of any nation lies in its people, Bunaa represents a vital investment in our human capital. Through this program, we are building the next generation of Emirati leaders who will design, manage, and deliver the world-class projects shaping our emirate. It establishes a sustainable talent ecosystem, ensuring that our most ambitious visions for Abu Dhabi are realized by our own skilled professionals.”
To ensure the successful delivery of this mission, ADPIC is collaborating with government entities and leading private-sector organizations across the construction, engineering and urban development sectors.
These strategic partnerships ensure that the Bunaa program supports national Emiratization priorities and provides participants with exposure to significant projects, industry best practices and the highest standards of performance across the infrastructure landscape.
ADPIC emphasizes that the program’s success is grounded in collaboration, practical learning and meaningful engagement with industry leaders. The initiative reaffirms ADPIC’s commitment to developing highly capable Emirati professionals who will play an essential role in shaping Abu Dhabi’s long-term infrastructure framework.
