Abu Dhabi based sovereign investor ADQ has announced the successful completion of its voluntary tender offer for Aramex, submitted through its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, Q Logistics Holding LLC.
The offer has now become unconditional, positioning ADQ as the majority shareholder in Aramex with a combined ownership of 63.16 percent, including shares held by AD Ports Group, in which ADQ holds a majority stake.
The transaction follows the receipt of all necessary antitrust and foreign direct investment approvals, as well as statutory exemptions and waivers from relevant authorities within and outside the UAE. All other offer conditions have been satisfied or waived.
With the acquisition of a controlling stake in Aramex, the firm strengthens its presence across the services layer of the logistics ecosystem, encompassing express delivery, freight forwarding, third-party logistics, and warehousing. These services are vital to ensuring efficient trade flows and connecting transport infrastructure with end users.
