AmSpec Group has launched a new Agri and Food laboratory in Dubai, strengthening its support for the UAE’s rapidly expanding agricultural and food sectors amid growing regulatory, trade, and food safety requirements.
Located at Dubai Science Park, TECOM Group’s science-focused hub, the laboratory expands access to high-precision testing for agricultural commodities, animal feed, and food and beverage products, strengthening food safety, quality assurance, and supply chain transparency across the UAE and the wider Middle East.
Staffed by more than 30 analysts and technical specialists, the facility operates 24/7 and features advanced technologies for testing pesticide residues, mycotoxins, drug and antibiotic residues, heavy metals, and genetic and biological contaminants.
The expansion supports AmSpec’s continued global growth, delivering integrated inspection, testing, and certification services that enhance quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across international supply chains, while reinforcing Dubai’s role as a hub for scientific innovation and trade.
Dubai Science Park provides an integrated ecosystem for life, energy, and environmental sciences, offering Grade-A offices, LEED-certified laboratories, and robust logistics infrastructure. It is home to global leaders including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Ingredion Middle East, and Chr. Hansen, alongside a community of 6,500 professionals.
