Ankabut, the UAE’s education cloud and network service provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies to advance technological innovation in the country’s education sector.
The agreement, signed by Walid Yehia, Managing Director-South Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Tarek Jundi, CEO of Ankabut, reflects a joint commitment to transform the learning experience in the UAE through advanced technology and strategic collaboration.
Leveraging cutting-edge technology for education
Operating from its state-of-the-art data center at Khalifa University, Ankabut offers comprehensive services, including networking, virtualization, cloud and application services, security, and managed support solutions.
Through the partnership, Ankabut will use Dell’s GPU-as-a-service capabilities to provide academic institutions with accelerated computing for data-intensive research and advanced learning applications.
Dell will also supply high-performance computing systems, client devices, and workstations to enhance Ankabut’s technological infrastructure.
The collaboration is set to enable secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based solutions, allowing UAE educational institutions to access high-performance computing and GPU resources.
