BankDhofar has been named the ‘Best Customer-Centric Banking Brand Oman, 2025’ at the 13th Annual Global Brand Awards, hosted by UK-based Global Brands Magazine, reaffirming the bank’s focus on customer-first strategies and innovative service offerings in the Omani banking sector.

Global Brands Magazine, a leading publication in the UK, holds the annual awards to honor brands showing outstanding performance in service delivery, innovation, and customer focus. The 2025 edition of the competition reviewed over 20,000 companies globally.

The recognition adds to BankDhofar’s growing list of awards for customer service excellence. In recent months, the bank was named ‘Best Bank in the MENA Region 2025’ by Gazet International for its customer-centric innovation and digital transformation. It also won the Qorus Reinvention Awards: MEA 2024 for its ‘Enterprise Voice of the Customer’ program, which integrates real-time customer feedback into core strategies.

In the Verint EMEA Inspire Awards 2024, BankDhofar earned a silver award for its strategic use of AI and customer analytics. The CX Live Show Awards also honored the bank with top titles, including Best CX Transformation Project, Best Customer Journey Mapping, and Best Change Management.

BankDhofar’s approach centers around leveraging technology to improve customer experiences while offering tailored services for distinct segments, youth, women, SMEs, and priority clients. The bank operates a dedicated Customer Experience Center and uses channels like email, call centers, and social media to gather and act on customer feedback.

Expansion in physical reach also remains a priority, with a growing network of branches and ATMs. The bank’s ‘Promise to Serve’ campaign, launched in October, pledges to serve customers within ten minutes of taking a queue ticket at any of its 140+ branches. This initiative reflects the bank’s focus on time efficiency and operational excellence.

Additionally, BankDhofar supports community development and national growth through targeted SME services such as direct debit facilities, credit cards, and business advisory tools. Private banking clients also benefit from exclusive services under the ARISE program.
