The 8th edition of the Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics Conference and Exhibition (BDLA8 2025) has officially kicked off in Bahrain, attracting a diverse group of dermatologists and cosmetology specialists from across the Kingdom and around the world.

This year’s BDLA8 2025 showcases more than 85 esteemed international and regional speakers who will deliver over 70 lectures, focusing on the latest innovations and technologies in therapeutic dermatology, non-surgical aesthetics, skin surgery, and laser treatments.

Alongside the scientific program, an exhibition has been inaugurated, showcasing leading local and international companies specialized in medical equipment and dermatological products.

The BDLA8 2025 serves as a vital platform that connects academics with the industry to exchange expertise and gain insights into the most advanced technologies shaping the sector.

BDLA8 2025 offers advanced Surgical and Therapeutic Sessions

Dr. Husain Juma, Secretary of the Supreme Committee of the Conference, emphasized that the successful launch reflects the Conference’s commitment to providing high-quality scientific content that meets the evolving needs of health practitioners across the region, and noted that the BDLA8 2025 extends beyond presenting the latest research, with a strong focus on applied learning that equips physicians with practical skills designed to enhance the standard of care delivered to patients.

Dr. Tariq Saeed, Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Head of the Plastic Surgery Scientific Committee, highlighted the significance of the specialized scientific sessions dedicated to plastic surgeries and clinical dermatology, and explained that these sessions address advanced surgical and therapeutic protocols for complex and chronic conditions. The program also includes in-depth discussions on the latest international recommendations in managing cases of plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as dermatological diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and autoimmune skin disorders.

Dr. Saeed noted that these sessions enable physicians to improve diagnostic accuracy and deliver treatments that align with the best international practices.

Dr. Fatima Khamdan drew attention to the unique value of the interactive workshops integrated into the program and explained that the workshops provide participants with hands-on training under the supervision of leading international experts, with a particular focus on advanced injection techniques, laser applications, and minor dermatological surgical procedures.

Dr. Khamdan underscored that the combination of theoretical lectures with practical training forms an essential pillar of sustainable professional development for all participants.
