Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has opened registration for participation in the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX).
WETEX stands out as the region’s largest trade fair. It covers a diverse array of fields such as energy, water, green development, sustainability, green mobility, and smart and sustainable cities, alongside other related industries.
The event is scheduled to take place from 30th September to 2nd October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). It falls in line with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for sustainable development and green economy.
The exhibition will gather companies from the government and private sectors, local and international government representatives, decision-makers, professionals, researchers, experts and specialists.
It will serve as a platform to share experiences and knowledge while exploring the latest technologies and innovations, aimed at driving a more sustainable and prosperous future.
The exhibition is held annually under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
The 26th edition of WETEX attracted over 2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries and 50,598 visitors from around the globe. The edition held over 130 specialized sessions and panel discussions, featuring leading experts and specialists.
These sessions revolved around innovation, sustainability, clean energy, electric vehicles, water treatment and waste management, green mobility and climate strategies, as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies, digital integration in energy, decarbonization, climate finance, digital transformation, smart cities and emerging technologies.
