“Family businesses remain a vital engine of growth, diversification, and innovation within Dubai’s economy. Ensuring their continued success is essential to enhancing the emirate’s competitiveness and driving sustainable long-term growth. The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses is committed to empowering these companies to navigate economic developments and embrace global best practices, which contributes towards strengthening the local private sector and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for trade and investment.”

The first service of the three newly launched offering is the Current-State Assessment And Family Constitution Review, which offers a comprehensive evaluation of a family business’s governance framework.

Using the centre’s automated Family Business Governance Assessment Tool, businesses are assessed against regulatory requirements, global standards, and leading industry practices. The service includes interviews with key family members and stakeholders to uncover gaps and challenges, providing actionable recommendations to improve alignment, governance maturity, and long-term sustainability.

The second service, Family Constitution Drafting, assists families in developing formal governance documents that outline decision-making processes, policies, and organizational structures critical for sustainable operations that help family businesses.

The service is built around stakeholder interviews and family workshops, aiming to build consensus and ensure shared values are embedded in governance structures. This framework helps define roles, responsibilities, and eligibility criteria, while also establishing clear rules to minimize future disputes and support leadership continuity.

The third service, the Family Office Blueprint, guides families in creating a private office to manage their wealth, investments, and personal matters.

Through targeted workshops, the center helps families clarify their objectives, determine the scope of services, and identify necessary staff requirements. This service is designed to support long-term wealth preservation, strategic investment planning, and effective family governance.

These services reflect Dubai’s commitment to strengthening its private sector by empowering family businesses with tools and structures that ensure resilience and adaptability in a dynamic global market.
