The Dubai Ports Authority (DPA), operating under the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, has joined the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) as a regular member, reinforcing Dubai’s strategic positioning within the global maritime sector.
The move aligns with Dubai’s broader objective to deepen engagement on influential international platforms and contribute to shaping a more sustainable, efficient, and resilient maritime ecosystem.
Through IAPH membership, DPA will collaborate with port authorities and maritime stakeholders across more than 90 countries, strengthening knowledge exchange and coordinated industry action.
As part of its participation, DPA will actively engage in IAPH-led programs addressing emissions reduction, energy transition, and digital transformation.
The Authority will also contribute to initiatives focused on maritime supply chain data coordination, risk management, emergency preparedness, and operational resilience—areas that are increasingly critical amid evolving global trade dynamics.
