The Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) has launched the EAD Avatar, an innovative AI-powered solution that is set to transform public engagement by providing real-time, interactive communication with the agency through a lifelike digital avatar, enhancing access to environmental information and education among the public.
The launch of EAD Avatar took place during EAD’s participation at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 30 August to 7 September 2025.
It has been developed in collaboration with Accord Business Group (ABG), positioning Abu Dhabi as a global leader in digital innovation and sustainability-focused governance.
The EAD Avatar features lifelike Emirati male and female characters, Souheil and Dana, who communicate fluently in both Arabic and English. Powered by advanced AI and drawing from verified, unified information sources, they provide natural, reliable interactions that align with EAD’s mission to promote environmental stewardship and public awareness across Abu Dhabi.

Designed with future expansion in mind, the EAD Avatar system will evolve to support new applications, additional languages, and multiple communication channels, reflecting EAD’s dedication to innovative, future-ready solutions.
