According to data from the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the Civil Family Court processed 7,600 civil will applications between January and September 2025, including 1,080 in September alone—an average of 55 wills per day, or roughly nine per hour. The digital civil wills service enables residents and visitors of various nationalities to register and notarize their wills entirely online, eliminating the need for in-person visits and offering a flexible, convenient solution for people of all nationalities.
EasyWill aims to meet this need while addressing long-standing concerns around navigating inheritance rules that may not always reflect an individual’s personal wishes.

By registering a will with the Abu Dhabi Civil Court, testators can ensure their intentions are fully respected. EasyWill now makes that process straightforward through a multilingual digital interface that removes the need for legal consultations, translation costs, or in-person court visits. Its AI system guides users through each step and automatically generates a document that meets all Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) requirements. Once completed, the platform submits the will directly to the court for notary verification and certification.
