EHC, Phoenix, AAA launch JV for UAE sovereign cloud and AI

EHC Investment, Phoenix Technologies, and AAA Commercial Enterprises have signed a binding MoU to form a joint venture (JV) delivering next-generation sovereign cloud infrastructure, secure data platforms, and advanced AI solutions across the UAE and region.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the JV will combine regional investment leadership, Swiss-based technology execution, and deep business transformation expertise to meet the growing demand for secure, sovereign, and scalable digital infrastructure.

The platform will serve as the operating foundation for the development, marketing, and delivery of sovereign cloud solutions. Full operations will commence following regulatory approvals and the selection of the first flagship project under an agreed growth roadmap.

“This JV supports the UAE’s vision to build secure, sovereign, and future-ready digital infrastructure. Leveraging EHC’s more than four decades of expertise, we aim to deliver trusted cloud and AI platforms that serve national priorities, protect data sovereignty, and strengthen the UAE digital economy.”

Moustafa Rashad, Group CEO of EHC, added that, “Together with Phoenix and AAA, we are establishing a robust foundation for sovereign cloud and AI platforms that accelerate digital transformation, support national priorities, and deliver sustainable value at scale.”

Phoenix Technologies will lead the technical execution, delivering advanced ICT architectures, secure cloud platforms, and resilient AI infrastructure.

Thomas Taroni, Founder and Executive Chairman of Phoenix, emphasized the importance of controlling the entire value chain to ensure operational independence and high performance, building a neutral, reliable platform for AI innovation in the region.

Backed by Gewan Holding, AAA Commercial Enterprises will provide strong regional execution capability and institutional alignment, ensuring seamless implementation and operational excellence.
