The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority has inaugurated a health center in the Hasisa area of Brom Mayfa’a district, Hadhramaut Governorate in Yemen.
The Emirates Red Crescent Authority is a primary humanitarian organization, dedicated to providing aid and support both domestically and internationally. Established in 1983 in Abu Dhabi, the ERC operates under the patronage of the UAE government and is affiliated with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Dr. Mohamed Saleh Al-Jamhi, Director-General of the Office of the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Emirates Red Crescent for this significant support, affirming the Office’s commitment to implementing a number of health projects and facilities in the districts, in collaboration with partners and donors, with the goal of improving the quality of healthcare and medical services along the Hadhramaut coast.
It is worth noting that the new health center will serve approximately 4,000 residents of the Hasisa area and nearby areas. It will provide primary healthcare services, handle emergency and road accident cases, and include four essential programs for primary healthcare.
The ceremony, held under the patronage of Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madhi, the Governor of Hadhramaut, was attended by local officials and community leaders.

The Emirates Red Crescent has played a significant role in providing humanitarian assistance in Yemen, especially amid the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in the country.
According to the reports, the ERC has provided support to hospitals and medical centers in Yemen, contributing to the treatment of injuries and diseases, particularly in areas with limited access to healthcare. The organization has supported the establishment of specialized medical facilities for women, children, and individuals with chronic health conditions.
