Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, has entered into a strategic partnership framework with Canada-based satellite operator Telesat to cooperate on the future delivery of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity services in Qatar.

The partnership reflects Es’hailSat’s ongoing strategy to diversify and strengthen its satellite communications portfolio, ensuring customers benefit from high-performance, resilient, and flexible connectivity solutions.

The collaboration enables the two companies to explore joint opportunities across multiple sectors, including government services, enterprise digital transformation initiatives, and mobility applications.

Telesat’s LEO network, currently in production, is designed to deliver high-throughput, low-latency connectivity across global markets.

Under the partnership framework, Es’hailSat and Telesat will coordinate on service validation activities, market development initiatives, and the assessment of local infrastructure integration in Qatar to support future service deployment.
