Gulf Hotels Group (GHG), a leading hospitality company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has entered into a joint venture agreement with MFive Services, a UAE-based specialist in housekeeping and cleaning solutions for the hospitality sector, jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) and Metro Global.
The collaboration aims to establish MFive Services in Bahrain, a company that will set new international standards of excellence in outsourced housekeeping operations.
This strategic partnership represents a turning point in the evolution of professional housekeeping services in the Kingdom, setting a new benchmark for high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective services tailored for hotels, resorts, and serviced residences in Bahrain.
The agreement was signed by Gulf Hotels Group, Metro Global Pte Ltd, and Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) during an official signing ceremony in Dubai. The ceremony marks a major milestone in advancing outsourced hospitality services in the Kingdom, setting the stage for a new standard of operational excellence.
Founded in 2010 in the UAE, MFive Services is a leading provider of outsourced housekeeping and cleaning solutions, serving over 60 hotels, including major international brands. Its success stems from specialized staff training, operational efficiency, and scalable systems that deliver consistent quality and cost optimization.
Through this new venture, MFive Services aims to redefine Bahrain’s housekeeping outsourcing model by providing fully managed solutions that cover staffing, supervision, quality assurance, and operational support. The company’s turnkey model offers complete housekeeping departments, supplying teams from executive housekeepers to room attendants, along with daily supervision, training, and equipment, all tailored to each hotel’s operational standards and service requirements.
Quality assurance is driven by structured checklists, joint reviews, and defined KPIs to maintain brand standards and guest satisfaction, with hotels retaining full performance oversight. Unlike conventional outsourcing with fixed monthly fees, this pay-per-room model converts payroll costs into a ‘pay-for-productivity’ system tied to occupancy, delivering greater flexibility, accurate forecasting, optimized labor use, and consistent service quality.
Ahmed Janahi, CEO of Gulf Hotels Group, said the partnership with MFive Services is a major step towards bringing a performance-driven housekeeping model to Bahrain’s hospitality sector. He noted that this innovative approach moves beyond traditional outsourcing by improving service consistency, reducing cost volatility, and maintaining brand standards. Janahi added that combining Gulf Hotels Group’s hospitality expertise with MFive’s operational know-how will elevate service quality, boost guest satisfaction, and increase efficiency across hotels in the Kingdom.

Sheikh Ahmed Aldhahiri, Chairman of MFive Services and Vice Chairman and Managing Director of ADNH, said the agreement represents a strategic milestone for MFive Services and reflects the growing demand in Bahrain’s hospitality sector for its specialised solutions. He added that the company aims to strengthen its partnership with Gulf Hotels Group to become the preferred housekeeping and cleaning services provider for hotel owners and operators in the Kingdom.
Khalid Anib, Director of MFive Services and CEO of ADNH, said the partnership with Gulf Hotels Group marks a key milestone in MFive’s regional expansion. He noted that ADNH’s 2023 acquisition of a 50 percent stake in MFive supports the rollout of its model across the UAE and wider region, adding that the joint venture will bring high-quality, efficient housekeeping and cleaning services to Bahrain’s hospitality market.
Max Baer, CEO of Metro Global, said the partnership with Gulf Hotels Group marks an important step in MFive Services’ entry into the Bahraini market. He added that GHG’s strong hospitality network and operational expertise create a solid foundation for delivering premium housekeeping solutions and developing a scalable model for future expansion across the GCC.
The collaboration reflects GHG’s ongoing diversification strategy, expanding beyond hotel operations into support services that complement its hospitality ecosystem. This venture aligns with the Group’s vision to deliver integrated solutions that improve profitability, maintain quality standards, and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a regional hospitality hub.
