Gulf Air and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) have introduced a market-aligned Compensation & Benefits Framework with an enhanced Medical Insurance Program, advancing workforce modernization and strengthening organizational performance.
The measures form part of a broader human capital strategy focused on strengthening institutional resilience, improving competitiveness, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
BAC, which operates and manages Bahrain International Airport, has overseen significant infrastructure and commercial upgrades in recent years.
The latest phase of reform shifts attention inward, targeting organizational structure, reward systems, and employee support mechanisms.
Market-aligned framework
The newly introduced Compensation & Benefits Framework establishes a unified grading architecture across Gulf Air and BAC. The standardized structure is designed to:
Enable transparent career progression
Support capability development
Ensure equitable role evaluation
Align remuneration with market benchmarks
The framework also integrates performance-linked incentives, directly connecting individual output with strategic corporate objectives and reinforcing a results-driven culture.
Complementing the compensation reforms, the upgraded Medical Insurance Program enhances healthcare coverage for employees and their dependents.
The revised scheme expands access to medical services while maintaining alignment with recognized insurance standards, underscoring a commitment to workforce welfare and retention.
