Madinah Health Cluster, in collaboration with the National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO), has launched the Mawsool service at the Yanbu General Hospital, a healthcare facility that comes under the supervision of the Kingdom’s Ministry of Health.
The Mawsool service focuses on building an integrated supply chain for managing and delivering medical supplies to various hospital departments. This move plays a key role in contributing to enhanced medication safety and improved quality of healthcare services.
The service also falls in line with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030. The program seeks to modernize the Kingdom’s healthcare system, focusing on elevating healthcare access and quality through various strategies such digital transformation, privatization and public-private partnerships, training and development programs and more.
Health Sector Transformation Program is set to cement the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position as a key player in global health research and innovation.
The Door to Door service, introduced by the health cluster in cooperation with the company, harnesses the power of cutting-edge technologies in medical supply chain management to boost operational efficiency and ensure swift, safe, and timely fulfillment of needs in line with the international standards in the field.
