Kuwaiti Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud have explored avenues to expand economic, investment and strategic cooperation, in a high-level meeting held in Neom.

The discussions took place during the official visit of Sheikh Ahmad and his accompanying delegation to Saudi Arabia, underscoring a renewed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing regional integration across multiple sectors. Both sides reviewed the current status of cooperation in key areas such as trade, finance, and cross-border investment.

They stressed the importance of reinforcing joint efforts under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, alongside the Amir and Crown Prince of Kuwait. A key focus of the meeting was enhancing economic integration and deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations.

The talks also covered key regional and international developments of mutual concern, with particular focus on joint efforts to promote peace and security in the region and beyond. The leaders highlighted their commitment to unlocking new investment opportunities and expanding collaboration in sectors aligned with development visions.

Both sides emphasized the importance of sustained coordination and consultation to achieve the aspirations of their peoples for continued progress and prosperity. They underlined their mutual keenness to advance the longstanding fraternal ties, deepen the strategic partnership, and strengthen joint action on all fronts.

Representing Kuwait were Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, and Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority.

From the Saudi side were Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Finance Hindi Al-Suhaimi, and Deputy Governor and Head of MENA Investments at the Public Investment Fund Yazeed Al-Humied.
