New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) to establish a framework for exploring potential collaboration in sustainable urban development.

The two parties will explore how global sustainability frameworks, including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), can be integrated into the development.

This will involve examining advanced models such as LEED v5 and LEED for Communities, as well as identifying opportunities to enhance design, construction, and operational practices in line with global best practices.

Furthermore, both organizations will also explore areas such as knowledge exchange, training, sustainable community development, and alignment with international benchmarks that promote long-term environmental performance
