The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) is set to launch the fourth edition of its Franchise Program in Muscat to support the development of local brands in the Sultanate of Oman.
Further, the program intends to raise their market value, and enhance their reach and expansion in regional and international markets.
The initiative is part of the OCCI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the presence of local Omani brands and support their growth in both regional and global markets. It also serves as a platform to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in line with Oman’s economic diversification goals.
The launch ceremony of this edition will be sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Al Fadl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.
According to the statement, the Franchise Program by OCCI is one of several initiatives aimed at supporting income diversification and empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and business owners to achieve growth and global reach.
The program aligns with the Chamber’s strategic objectives of enhancing the business environment, broadening the scope of economic diversification, and contributing to development efforts across the Sultanate’s governorates.
This fourth edition builds upon the successes and valuable outcomes of the previous three editions of the program, underscoring the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the role of the private sector in national economic development.
Further, it reflects the Chamber’s strategic vision to empower local enterprises and entrepreneurs by nurturing competitive Omani brands that are capable of thriving in both domestic and international markets. Through this initiative, the Chamber aims to reinforce the private sector’s contribution to economic diversification, job creation, and long-term sustainability.
