The Omani-Bahraini Bazaar has launched at Oman Avenues Mall in Muscat under the patronage of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman.

The exhibition, organized by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in cooperation with Bahrain’s Embassy in Oman, will run until March 26. It features 30 exhibitors, 17 from Oman and 13 from Bahrain, showcasing a wide range of products such as clothing, perfumes, traditional sweets, accessories, and handicrafts reflecting both cultures.

The event saw the presence of Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Oman; and Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajriyah, Chairwoman of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association.

The aim of this event is to strengthen the ties between Bahrain and Oman, support entrepreneurs, flourish job opportunities, and boost trade partnerships. It also falls in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040, highlighting entrepreneurs as a key driver of economic growth.

Al Kaabi stated that organization of the Omani-Bahraini Bazaar highlights Bahrain’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship. The ambassador also emphasized that the event demonstrates the strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Oman, building on the results of the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Oman in January of this year.

Furthermore, Al Hajriyah stressed that the bazaar is the result of joint cooperation between the embassy and the association, highlighting that the event supports economic growth in both countries by fostering entrepreneurship and SME, with the aim of stimulating commercial and economic activity between Bahrain and Oman.
