The Qatar Chamber has announced the postponement of its scheduled General Assembly Meeting (GAM), which was set to take place on Thursday, June 12.
The decision was made in accordance with procedural requirements after the meeting failed to achieve the necessary quorum of eligible members.
Qatar Chamber Chairman, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, confirmed the postponement, noting that the second GAM will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 30 at the chamber’s headquarters regardless of the number of attendees.
The General Assembly Meeting is a critical platform for discussing the Chamber’s performance, financials, strategic plans, and initiatives that support the private sector and enhance the business environment in Qatar.
The agenda for the General Assembly Meeting includes a comprehensive review of the Qatar Chamber’s activities and financial performance for the year ending December 31, 2024. Key items on the agenda comprise the presentation of the Board of Directors’ annual report, which outlines the Chamber’s initiatives, achievements, and strategic developments over the past year.

Additionally, the meeting will address the Chamber’s fiscal performance through the auditor’s report, which will cover the final accounts, as well as the detailed statement of income and expenditures for the 2024 financial year. Members will be invited to discuss and approve the Chamber’s estimated budget for the 2025 fiscal year.
Another important item on the agenda is the appointment of a new external auditor for the financial year 2025, in accordance with governance and compliance practices. This meeting provides a vital forum for members to assess the Chamber’s performance, contribute to financial oversight, and support strategic planning for the year ahead.
