Qatar Chamber to hold General Assembly Meeting on June 12

Qatar Chamber (QC), a non-profit public organization, is set to convene its General Assembly Meeting (GAM) on June 12, 2025.

The meeting will be chaired by QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani. The meeting will bring together key members of the Chamber and business leaders from across Qatar’s economic landscape to review the organization’s performance, discuss strategic priorities, and outline future plans aimed at supporting the private sector and fostering economic growth.

Qatar Chamber’s main role  is to organise business interests and represent the Qatari private sector locally and globally as well as support the country’s economic actors and productivity.

According to the statement, the meeting’s agenda includes reviewing the report of the board of directors on the activities of the chamber for the year ended 31, December 2024. It includes discussing the QC’s fiscal report for the year ending December 31, 2024, through the auditor’s report on the final accounts and the statement of income and expenses for the year.

Furthermore, it will approve the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2025 and appoint a new auditor for the 2025 financial year. The Qatar Chamber said in a statement that “if the quorum is not completed at the first meeting, the second meeting would be held at 12:00 pm on June 30, regardless of the number of attendees.”

The Qatar Chamber has emphasized the importance of the general assembly meeting as a platform for enhancing communication between the board of directors and the chamber’s members. It also noted that the General Assembly Meeting provides an opportunity for members to voice their opinions, offer suggestions, and contribute to shaping the chamber’s future strategies and initiatives.
