The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) of the State of Qatar has confirmed the abundant availability of goods and products at all sales outlets across the country, affirming that supply levels remain strong and distribution channels are operating efficiently to meet ongoing consumer demand.
The Ministry emphasized that consumer needs are being fully met across various sectors, with sufficient stock levels maintained to prevent shortages and ensure uninterrupted access to essential and non-essential goods.
It stressed that market stability remains a top priority, noting that the flow of goods continues smoothly and regularly without disruption due to coordinated supply chain efforts and proactive oversight.
Qatar MOCI stated that its field inspection teams are continuing to carry out intensive and routine inspection rounds at sales outlets and markets nationwide. These inspections aim to closely monitor supply conditions, verify that retailers and suppliers comply with regulations regarding the availability of essential goods, ensure adherence to approved pricing policies, and detect any violations or attempts at manipulation. The Ministry affirmed that necessary legal measures are taken promptly against violators in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordination has also been strengthened with major sales outlets to operate 22 key branches around the clock in various regions of Qatar. This step is intended to reinforce the availability of goods, enhance distribution efficiency, and provide consumers with convenient, 24-hour access to their daily necessities, particularly during peak demand periods.
The Qatari Ministry reiterated its ongoing commitment to offering a wide range of high-quality products that meet diverse consumer preferences and needs. It also encouraged consumers to report any observations, complaints, or suspected violations through its official communication channels, reaffirming its firm dedication to safeguarding consumer rights, ensuring transparency, and maintaining overall market stability.
