Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), in collaboration with Ajial Altarbwy Center, has wrapped up ‘Qatfa program,’ an educational initiative designed to empower young people by equipping them with essential skills to shine.
The concluding ceremony was held in the presence of HE Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, the Minister of Education and Higher Education, at the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara. Various officials, educators and parents also attended the ceremony.
The Qatfa program blends education and entertainment on the one hand, and cognitive empowerment and the promotion of religious and national values on the other.
Held from August 2023 to June 2025, the program provided six consecutive seasons, two per academic year. It covered educational, cultural, sports, and skill-based aspects.
During the program, a specialized educational team supervised and guided the participants to discover their unique talents in a safe and stimulating environment.
The Qatfa program also organized a series of humanitarian and environmental initiatives, supporting victims of Turkiye earthquake in cooperation with Qatar Charity, and providing school supplies in cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent Society.
Meanwhile, the environmental initiatives, in cooperation with the ministries of municipality and environment, were designed to empower children to protect environment through volunteer and awareness-raising activities.
Around 1,867 boys and girls participated in the program. They were equipped with essentials skills and chance to embark on 27 local trips and two international trips.
At the concluding ceremony, MOEHE honored the program’s sponsors and participants, highlighting that Qatfa represented a comprehensive educational experience spanning three years, combining values and knowledge, fun and ambition while playing a key role in shaping a generation that is aware of its identity and committed to contributing to the growth of its nation and community.
