Qatar Tourism has concluded the first edition of the Junior Tour Guide 2025, an initiative designed to inspire young Qataris by engaging them in interactive tourism activities across Qatar’s museums.
Organized by Qatar Tourism’s Service Excellence Academy, in collaboration with Qatar Museums, Katara, and several other key agencies, Junior Tour Guide 2025 was held as a part of the department’s ongoing efforts to engage and inspire the local community.
By focusing on children and families, Junior Tour Guide 2025 aims to provide unique opportunities to connect with the tourism sector through an innovative blend of education and entertainment.

“Qatar Tourism is committed to delivering impactful programs and initiatives that serve our local community through the Service Excellence Academy. Junior Tour Guide 2025 camp has provided children with valuable skills such as storytelling, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of Qatar’s rich heritage.”
Omar Abdulrahman Al Jaber highlighted that beyond tour guiding, these skills play a vital role in helping youth build self-confidence and improve their communication abilities.
The Chief emphasized that the next generation of tourism ambassadors is being nurtured today, and by encouraging young people, the Junior Tour Guide 2025 remind them that among them could be the future tour guide or tourism expert who will carry Qatar’s message to the world. These abilities empower youth to take on leadership roles and represent Qatar’s rich culture and heritage on the global stage, he added.
Junior Tour Guide 2025 has offered a hands-on, interactive experience that fosters a deeper understanding of Qatar’s rich cultural heritage while also highlighting the country’s role as a leading tourism destination. Through this, Qatar Tourism strives to cultivate a greater appreciation for the sector and inspire the next generation of tourism professionals and ambassadors.
