QC hosts 3d workshop on entrepreneurship

The Qatar Chamber (QC) has hosted the third edition of the ‘Young Entrepreneurs Initiative’ workshop for school students, a pioneering initiative under Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The workshop is designed to educate and engage middle school students in entrepreneurial activities, and equip them with leadership skills through systematic training. Over 200 students from more than 40 public and private preparatory schools attended the workshop. Through this initiative, they seek to nurture entrepreneurial mindset at an early age.

Kholod Al Humaidi, a business entrepreneur and member of the Youth Entrepreneurship Club, led the workshop. Nora Al Awlan, Director of the Research and Studies Department at Qatar Chamber, stated that the Chamber welcomes all initiatives that support entrepreneurs, highlighting how entrepreneurship can enhance the private sector as well as contribute to the growth of the national economy.

Nora Al Awlan emphasized that it is a modern and innovative effort to educate school students about the significance of entrepreneurship. By taking part in the workshop, the students get introduced to the private sector and the pivotal role it plays in the economy and community service. The initiative empowers students to develop their own ideas, establish projects, and to maintain their development and progress.

Gharam Al Yafie, Founder and Leader of the Young Entrepreneurs Initiative, praised the Chamber for the support, also highlighting that it received support from various entities, such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Doha University for Science and Technology, the Youth Entrepreneurship Club, Qatar National Library and Qatar Chamber.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to foster creativity and innovation, empower student and nurture entrepreneurial thinking. It seeks to enhance their competitive spirit, and provide them with practical skills to develop entrepreneurial projects and thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
