Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has unveiled the second phase of the BINAA National Platform, spotlighting registered Qatar-based contractors and consultants presenting optional home designs for citizens utilizing the housing loan program.
This pioneering platform, launched in partnership with Qatar Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), alongside the Ministry of Municipality (MoM), provides complementary and optional designs with different spaces and models, with future expansion options also available.
The platform offers a range of design models, from classical to modern, adhering to the highest engineering standards while being cost-effective and meeting the citizens’ needs.”
The designs feature architectural, electrical and mechanical layouts, minimizing the time and efforts needed to obtain official consents from the competent authorities. All designs had secured approvals from Ministry of Municipality, accelerating the process of receiving the essential licenses.
Citizens can also choose suitable designs through the platform and access detailed quantity schedules with varying finish levels, offering clarity on projected costs.
Bati Rashid Al Noaimmi, Senior Manager of the QDB’s Department of Housing Loans, highlighted QDB’s commitment to delivering a diverse array of options that meet the citizens’ aspirations, emphasizing that cooperation with MSDF and MoM seeks to streamline the procedures of securing the approvals, thereby implementing the projects based on sustainability criteria in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Al Noaimmi also stressed that QDB always strives to offer creative housing solutions to advance Qatar’s real estate sector through dedicating an overarching platform to help the citizens build their homes and achieve transparency in work accomplishment, whether they are beneficiaries of bank loans or those who plan to construct their homes by themselves.
QDB also plans to launch further housing designs in the future and deliver cutting-edge services that enhance the tasks of building homes.
Furthermore, the bank revealed from June 2025, only the contractors and consultants registered on this platform would be exclusively entitled to participate in implementing new projects for citizens who benefit from the housing loans.
