Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser has inaugurated the Agility Logistics Complex in Jeddah, an investment by the company valued at $162.7 million (SAR 611 million).
The Agility logistics complex, operated by Agility Logistics Parks, comprises six Grade-A mega-warehouses built to the highest technical and engineering standards of modern logistics, serving key sectors such as retail, consumer goods, technology, automotive, energy, and e-commerce.
Al-Jasser said the continued flow of local and international private-sector investment into the Kingdom’s logistics and supply chain sector reflects its growing attractiveness, noting that the sector has witnessed major, successive investments from leading global logistics companies. He attributed this momentum to extensive structural reforms, significant growth in operational activities, improved performance levels, and major infrastructure development supported by the Saudi leadership.
The minister highlighted the strategic partnership with the private sector and the vast economic and developmental opportunities emerging in the Kingdom’s transport and logistics sector. He added that investments like the Agility logistics complex underscore the shared commitment to advancing ambitious plans to develop modern, high-quality logistics infrastructure that empowers supply chain operations, supports data center hosting, harnesses artificial intelligence, and boosts business and investment growth.
Jeddah Agility logistics complex spans a total area of 576,760 square meters, with a built-up area exceeding 338,000 square meters. Located in the Al-Mahjar area just 11 kilometers from Jeddah Islamic Port and 15 kilometers from the city center, the site offers a strategic position that serves the increasing demand for logistics services along the Kingdom’s western trade corridor.
The master plan of the Agility logistics complex includes six Grade-A warehouses designed according to the highest international standards and fully compliant with the requirements of the Saudi General Directorate of Civil Defense, the municipality, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
The Agility logistics complex provides dry and temperature-controlled storage within a secure environment equipped with round-the-clock protection systems, serving key sectors including retail, consumer goods, technology, automotive, energy, and e-commerce.
