The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has formally endorsed the New Delhi Declaration from the India AI Impact Summit 2026, reaffirming its commitment to harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to drive economic growth, promote social welfare, and advance sustainable development.
The declaration, endorsed by 88 countries and international organizations, reflects a broad global consensus on promoting responsible AI adoption and international collaboration.
Saudi Arabia highlighted that the principles of the declaration align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to build a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation, empower citizens, and deploy advanced technologies for the benefit of humanity.

Investing in people, developing national competencies, and updating regulatory frameworks are central to our approach.”

It further emphasizes strengthening multistakeholder engagement, respecting national sovereignty, and fostering accessible and trustworthy AI frameworks.

The summit concluded with a reaffirmation of long-term partnerships, positioning AI as a key driver of economic growth and social progress.

The UAE’s involvement underscores its leadership role in global technology policy and anticipates hosting the AI Summit in 2028, following Switzerland in Geneva in 2027.
