Saudi Arabia’s Digital Government Authority (DGA) has launched the national ‘Cloud Pioneers’ program under the ‘Qtech’ initiative, aimed at developing and empowering government professionals in cloud technologies.

The program seeks to enhance the capabilities of national talent, equipping them with the skills needed to leverage cutting-edge digital solutions and support Saudi Arabia’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.

The Cloud Pioneers program is launched in collaboration with leading global cloud computing companies, including Nutanix, Microsoft, Huawei, AWS, Google, and Oracle. It offers specialized training content designed to qualify participants to a professional level that keeps pace with rapid technological advancements.

Cloud Pioneers: Advancing National Talent and Cultivating Innovation

Cloud Pioneers marks a pivotal advancement in enhancing government efficiency by developing national expertise in managing cloud infrastructure. The program is designed to cultivate a culture of innovation within government agencies, while accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies across the public sector.

With the goal of training over 100,000 participants by 2030, Cloud Pioneers aligns with the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, empowering a new generation of professionals to drive the Kingdom’s digital transformation and elevate the quality of government services.

This initiative is part of the Digital Government Authority’s broader efforts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, to strengthen the digital capabilities of the government sector.

By empowering national talent and fostering expertise in cloud technologies, the program aims to establish a robust digital infrastructure that will enhance the efficiency, quality, and delivery of government services.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s vision to build a future-ready government that can effectively leverage digital solutions to drive progress and improve public sector performance.
