Events at Sharjah Ramadan Festival have been energizing commercial activity in the emirate’s central region, introducing incentives that support local traders and draw shoppers back to traditional markets.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director-General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has announced the launch of a comprehensive package of cash and in-kind prizes at Sharjah Ramadan Festival, including a car as the grand prize at both ‘Layali Al Dhaid’ and ‘Layali Filli’.

The initiatives form an integral part of the broader Sharjah Ramadan Festival and are strategically designed to stimulate purchasing activity, strengthen retailer participation and increase overall sales at Souq Sharie Al Dhaid and Souq Filli. Through these targeted efforts, the Chamber aims to revitalise traditional markets, create a dynamic shopping environment and ensure sustained economic momentum across the central region during the holy month.

Al Awadhi said the promotional campaign at Sharjah Ramadan Festival delivers direct and tangible support to retailers operating in the two markets, helping them benefit from heightened seasonal demand. Shoppers who spend $27.23 (AED 100) at any participating outlet are automatically entered into a draw for the grand prize, a customer-focused incentive designed to reward loyalty while significantly boosting footfall, transaction volumes and commercial activity throughout the area.

He further noted that the Chamber is organizing a vibrant and engaging series of interactive competitions in collaboration with Al Wusta Channel in Dhaid, affiliated with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.

The contests offer instant cash rewards and valuable in-kind prizes for both viewers and visitors, enhancing the festive atmosphere, encouraging broader community engagement and reinforcing the celebratory spirit of Ramadan throughout the central region in a lively and inclusive setting.
