The Bahrain’s Social Insurance Organization (SIO), in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), has launched a joint digital awareness platform for comprehensive electronic services at Marassi Galleria, running from September 27 to October 1.
The digital awareness platform aims to raise awareness of social insurance among all segments of society by providing simple interactive content explaining rights, duties and insurance procedures.
It also allows the public to submit enquiries and requests directly, showcases services available via the eKey, and introduces information protection methods. The goal is to enhance awareness of eGovernment and social insurance services and support digital transformation.
The digital awareness platform provides simple, accessible content and allows visitors to submit enquiries and requests directly to representatives. It also highlights key digital services, including eKey registration, awareness screens, educational guides, and demonstrations of information protection methods to ensure secure access to eGovernment and insurance services.
Targeting business owners, employees in both public and private sectors, retirees and their eligible family members, as well as young people entering the labor market, the digital awareness platform initiative ensures inclusivity across all segments of society. By offering tailored guidance and interactive learning, it aims to foster a culture of preparedness and understanding around insurance and related digital services.
Located at Marassi Galleria, CinemaGate P2 entrance, the digital awareness platform operates daily from 11 am to 6 pm until October 1, enabling convenient access for a wide audience. Through this initiative, the Authority seeks to reinforce confidence in social insurance, empower individuals with digital tools, and align with national efforts to build a sustainable and innovative eGovernment ecosystem.
