Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) has signed a cooperation agreement with Emirates Auction to manage the sale of unique vehicle number plates in the emirate.
The agreement of SPGC with Emirates Auction covers third category plate numbers and others to be introduced in the future. Under the agreement, Emirates Auction will serve as the official agent responsible for marketing and selling the distinctive number plates through both online and public auctions held in designated venues across Sharjah.
The agreement was formalized by His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of SPGC, and His Excellency Omar Al Mannai, Executive Director of Emirates Auction.
The initiative of SPGC aims to enhance customer satisfaction by offering innovative traffic services that align with the broader strategic goals of the Sharjah Government. The signing was attended by His Excellency Brigadier General Omar Al Ghazal, Director General of the General Directorate of Operations and Security Support, along with other senior officials.
Major General bin Amer highlighted that the agreement reflects the emirate’s vision to develop smart services and to adopt advanced solutions that meet the evolving needs of the community, while also aligning with best international systems and applications.
The SPGC Chief further praised the collaboration with Emirates Auction, describing the company as a valued strategic partner in driving smart transformation and institutional excellence across the police force. The new system is expected to streamline access to special number plates and contribute to improved public services in the emirate.
His Excellency Omar Al Mannai expressed pride in extending the partnership with SPGC, affirming Emirates Auction’s commitment to executing the agreement with the highest standards of professionalism. He noted that the initiative will reinforce Sharjah’s pioneering image and enhance satisfaction among both customers and partners.
