Saudi Post (SPL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (Al-Imam University) to strengthen cooperation in academic and training initiatives.
The partnership aims to facilitate joint scientific meetings, seminars, and workshops, as well as promote the sharing of knowledge resources, e-learning content, and digital scientific materials, further enhancing the educational and professional development landscape.
The agreement includes the exchange of scientific, academic, and technical expertise, and cooperation in planning, institutional excellence, and performance improvement. It also covers faculty development and professional skills enhancement.
The MoU outlines a framework for cooperative training and employment opportunities aimed at university students, providing them with practical exposure to the logistics and supply chain sectors. In addition, it establishes a collaborative effort in the development, review, and continuous enhancement of academic curricula related to supply chains and logistics services.
This curriculum alignment will ensure that students are equipped with skills that meet the evolving demands of the labor market. The agreement also includes the potential for expanding cooperation into other areas, based on mutual agreement, further strengthening the partnership between the two organizations.
According to SPL, this agreement reflects both entities’ approach to building effective institutional partnerships between the logistics and education sectors through qualitative initiatives that strengthen national capabilities and develop educational and training pathways that keep pace with labor market developments.
