Sumerge, a software development and IT consulting firm, has marked the successful completion of three national digital transformation projects delivered in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD).

The completed initiatives — the Social Development Platform, the Development of Non-Governmental Residential Care Services for Persons with Disabilities Project, and the Integrated Services Project — support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening service efficiency, governance, and digital integration.

The milestone was commemorated at a formal ceremony attended by senior executives and project teams from both entities, including Mr. Shady Abdelwahab, Chief Executive Officer of Sumerge, and HE Eng. Faisal Bakhshwein, Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation at HRSD.

Driving measurable social impact

The Social Development Platform has enhanced service accessibility and improved engagement with beneficiaries by streamlining workflows and digitizing service delivery channels.

The Residential Care Services Development Project introduced advanced governance frameworks and digital enablement tools designed to strengthen care services for persons with disabilities, reinforcing accountability and operational efficiency.

Meanwhile, the Integrated Services Project unified multiple systems and processes across departments, enabling seamless coordination and data integration across service channels. The initiative has improved operational transparency and laid the groundwork for a more responsive, citizen-centric service model.

Speaking at the event, Sumerge’s leadership reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering technology-driven solutions that extend beyond system modernization to generate tangible social value.

The partnership reflects a results-oriented approach to digital transformation — one that combines innovation, regulatory alignment, and long-term sustainability.

The ceremony concluded with formal recognition of the joint project teams whose technical expertise and collaborative efforts were instrumental in delivering the initiatives on schedule and to specification.
