Tanmiah Food Company has launched a strategic partnership with McDonald’s Saudi Arabia to enhance the supply of locally sourced poultry to one of the world’s leading quick-service restaurant chains.
The collaboration aims to raise industry standards and support Saudi Arabia’s agricultural and food security goals by consistently producing larger chickens suitable for deboning and further processing, even under the Kingdom’s challenging farming conditions.
Tanmiah’s partnership with McDonald’s underlines both companies’ long-standing commitment to quality, food safety, and local sourcing, as well as their contribution to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Tanmiah, leveraging advanced environmental controls and stringent farming protocols, is currently the only poultry supplier in the region recognized for raising bigger birds that meet strict safety and regulatory standards.
The larger chickens produced by Tanmiah not only serve local demand but are also supplied to McDonald’s outlets across the wider region, enhancing the company’s role in supporting self-sufficiency and reducing dependence on imported poultry. In line with this growth, Tanmiah is exploring expansion plans within the Kingdom to support its continued partnership with McDonald’s and meet rising market demand.
Together, Tanmiah and McDonald’s Saudi Arabia are driving innovation in poultry farming, optimizing supply chains, and meeting the growing demand for premium, locally raised poultry within the Kingdom’s fast-growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) market.
