UAE NMO welcomes Kuwaiti delegation to enhance media ties

Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office (NMO) and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, has hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Information of the State of Kuwait.

The delegation led by Lafi Al-Subaie, Assistant Under-Secretary for Press, Publishing, and Publications visited the NMO headquarters in Abu Dhabi for discussions on strengthening media cooperation and expanding bilateral coordination.

During the meeting, both parties focused on ways to enhance collaboration in various media fields, particularly amidst the challenges posed by the rapid digital transformation of the sector. They also reviewed the growing need for innovation in media, ensuring that it evolves in line with technological advancements.

The talks between NMO and Kuwaiti delegates also touched upon the upcoming BRIDGE Summit, a key strategic event designed to foster the exchange of innovative ideas, enhance cross-border collaboration, and promote media foresight across the region, with a focus on shaping the future of the media landscape.

Al Hamed emphasized the significance of Gulf media integration, stressing its role in creating a more impactful, inclusive media environment that upholds humanitarian values, respects diversity, and serves the community responsibly.

Additionally, the Kuwaiti delegation was introduced to the NMO’s state of the art media monitoring and analysis systems, which track media content across various platforms. The systems include advanced tools for analyzing trends and measuring communication impacts.

The delegation also explored the growing role of artificial intelligence in supporting media decision-making, streamlining workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing content delivery strategies, ensuring media organizations can keep pace with the sector’s fast-evolving technological landscape and meet the demands of modern audiences.
