The US-Saudi Biotech Alliance Summit has advanced bilateral investment cooperation in medical biotechnology as the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined the nation’s delegation, under the Invest Saudi initiative, during the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco.
Saudi delegation at the US-Saudi Biotech Alliance Summit has highlighted the growing momentum in Saudi–US relations and the expansion of strategic partnerships in future-focused sectors, particularly biotechnology and advanced healthcare, building on high-level leadership visits between the two countries in 2025.
The US-Saudi Biotech Alliance Summit has sought to convert this momentum into tangible economic outcomes by facilitating dialogue among policymakers, investors, global companies, and national entities, with the aim of accelerating investment flows into the Kingdom and strengthening research, development, and commercial collaboration across the medical biotechnology value chain.
Major investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia were showcased during the US-Saudi Biotech Alliance Summit, including research and development, advanced biomanufacturing, genomic data, clinical trials, and healthcare supply chains. The event has highlighted cross-border collaboration, innovation-driven growth, and long-term partnerships in line with the National Biotechnology Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
High-level bilateral meetings were also held between Saudi organizations and international counterparts to promote knowledge transfer, develop national capabilities, and accelerate the localization of advanced biotechnology within the Kingdom.
