Visit Qatar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft in order to foster digital innovation in tourism.
The MoU was signed at Web Summit Qatar 2025 by Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, and Lana Khalaf, Country Manager of Microsoft, mark a significant step toward digital transformation and improving the overall tourism ecosystem.

This advanced digital tool integrates cutting-edge technologies, offering an interactive platform that combines text, voice, and content with a conversational virtual assistant, maps, and an interactive planning interface. It uses Generative AI (GenAI) to ensure users receive dynamic, tailored guidance throughout their journey, setting a new benchmark for digital excellence in the tourism industry.

The Smart Travel Assistant from Visit Qatar is a pioneering innovation that seamlessly integrates text, voice, content, a conversational virtual assistant, maps, and an interactive planning interface. This innovation has set new standards for digital excellence in tourism.
