Yango Group, a global technology company, has launched its Transport Service in Muscat, introducing a free public transport feature within the Yango Superapp.

The new service provides real-time routes and schedules, helping residents and visitors navigate the city more efficiently.

According to the statement, the service expands Yango’s growing ecosystem in Oman, including ride-hailing, delivery, cargo, and rentals, reinforcing its mission to streamline urban living.

The company said that this will enable seamless journey planning, with users now able to access schedules for 13 city bus routes and 2 intercity routes connecting Muscat to the UAE.

“After selecting ‘Transport’ on the app’s homepage and entering a destination, the app shows multiple options with detailed routes, estimated travel times, timetables, and transfer points, simplifying travel planning across the city,” as per the statement.

The Yango Superapp offers a dependable solution for both daily commutes and tourist journeys, such as traveling from Muscat Airport to the National Museum of Oman.
